A doting dad 'married' his critically-ill little girl so she could have her very own fairy tale wedding.
Dad Shi Xinzhan said his 6-year-old daughter Shi Haiqing had always dreamt of marrying her Prince Charming, so he played the part himself.
Donning a white outfit Xinzhan walked 'down the aisle' hand-in-hand with his daughter, who had put on her favourite Snow White dress.
They walked into her hospital ward to the tune of Felix Mendelssohn’s "Wedding March".

Nurses, doctors and other patients acted as guests for the hospital 'wedding' in Tai’an City, East China’s Shandong Province.
The symbolic ceremony also means that he will get to see his daughter get married - something he and his wife may never witness if she does not win her battle against nephrotic syndrome.
The kidney disease has seen the family’s life turned upside down since April this year, and in the eight months that followed Haiqing’s appearance has also changed dramatically, making her unrecognisable.

The hormones she takes to counter the illness have caused her to put on 6 kilogrammes (13 lbs), which now sees her face swollen like a little balloon.
During the onset of the disease, Haiqing also suffered serious adrenal crises and her parents received two "critically ill" notices in the space of 10 days.
Besides the large amounts of money spent on Haiqing’s treatment - sometimes up to 10,000 RMB (£1,160) per day - there is very little the girl’s mum and dad can do.
But Haiqing has given her parents optimism, because she does not seem to fully grasp the severity of her disease and therefore seems to remain happy and cheerful every day.

Family tensions may be reaching boiling point between Faryal Makdoom and her husband Amir Khan 's family, but the model has taken to Instagram to trash claims her marriage is falling apart.
The 24-year-old posted a snap of her and husband Amir standing next to each other and laughing at an Amir Khan Foundation event today, along with the short but poignant comment: "Till death do us part" followed by emoji hearts.
Currently in Canada supporting her husband on tour, Faryal was very clearly shooting a thinly veiled retaliation against recent claims from her father-in-law - Sajjad Khan - who has claimed divorce could be on the cards for the couple.

Amir's father has branded his daughter-in-law Faryal Makdoom "very evil" as tensions within the family threaten to tear it apart completely.
This week has seen relations between Amir and Faryal and Amir's parents break down as the 24-year-old model opened up about the "abuse" perpetuated by her in-laws.
After her appearance on yesterday's This Morning, in which she claimed the Khans have emotionally and verbally abused her over the years, Amir's dad Sajjad Khan said Faryal is to blame for breaking up the family.

"She is trying to come between us, she is trying to break up the very close relationship we have with Amir. She is a very evil woman," he said, according to the Daily Star.
"I have given and taken with her. We all have. All she wants is the limelight."
Sajjid even hinted that divorce could be on the cards thanks to Faryal's actions.

"He's tried his best to calm things down but she goes against him. Sooner or later I wouldn't be surprised if he just wants out. The writing's on the wall," he added.
Sajjid and his wife Falak, who share a house in Bolton with their son and daughter-in-law, have now moved out to give the couple some space – but claimed Faryal "won't change" because she has a "big ego".
"[She's] pushing Amir to the limit with her accusations," he went on.

"It's not fair. While he is out working so hard with his foundation, helping people he doesn't even know but who are so deprived and he just wants to make them happy, look what his wife's doing.
"She's not picking up the phone calling us to try and make amends. No, with her big ego she's gone on national TV and stuttering through the interview. It's crazy."
Sajjid added: "She said it's with her husband's blessing but I don't think so."

For his part, Amir has kept fairly schtum about the ongoing feud within his family – though he did break his silence this week with a tweeted statement threatening both sides with "losing him" .
In the statement, which has since been deleted, Amir wrote: "I apologise on the silly picture and message my wife Faryal put up. Here is me working my a** off helping the less fortunate with charity dinners and my family and wife are just destroying my name.
"I didn't want to get involved in this mess. There is NO reality television show. My parents are my parents and my wife is my wife. Whatever misunderstanding has happened they should keep it private.

"This is getting to the point where they will lose a son and a husband. Childish behaviour. Both parties need to stop this."
Meanwhile, Faryal – who is currently on tour with Amir in Canada, posted a defiant message on her Snapchat.
Sharing a snap of herself with Amir, she wrote underneath, "Till death do us part" – clearly in response to her in-laws' claims all was not well between the married couple.

Former drug addict Christina once turned to prostitution to survive but her former life has come back to haunt her as her husband Joe doesn't trust her.

Christina admitted that she sold her body get her next high and survive on the streets, and praised Joe for being her saviour, only now he's saying: “Once a hooker, always a hooker.”

The couple are married and are parents to a three-month-old son Noah, but Joe denied that he was the father after his family insisted that Christina is probably still selling her body.


“I was selling my body for whatever money I could get. I was only 17 when I started prostituting,” she told The Maury Show.


“I never thought anybody could love me.”

She explained that Joe was the man who convinced her to stop selling her body and start a new life with him.

“I probably would've been six feet under the fricking ground right now,” Christina said.

“He wants to believe anything they tell him in his stupid ears,” a frustrated Christina explained about why her husband thinks he's been betrayed.

“You can never change a ho into a housewife,” she fumed. “I changed.”



When the couple fell pregnant they thought they were about to start the family they've always wanted but Joe then accused her of betrayal and became convinced when he came home to find men in his house.

Pointing out the similarities between her husband Joe and their baby Noah, she explained that he doesn't seem them because “the baby is white”.

“It don't matter what colour you are, we all bleed the same colour,” she stated.



“I've had doubts Noah was mine since Christina told me she was pregnant,” he said, Joe also explained that he was told his wife went on holiday with another man.

“You just can't trust a hooker,” Joe said. “Once a hooker, always a prostitute.”

Joe insisted that he wanted to be Noah's father and stay married to Christina but only if the paternity result proved he was the daddy.

The test results proved that Joe was the father, and he said: “I'll never bring it up again.”

In a recent radio interview, actress Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, says she wears Bvm shorts at home so that “toothpick leg” girls will not snatch her husband from her.


Her colleague, Adunni Ade who was also on the set of the interview had earlier said she will not wear booty shorts in her home as it was inappropriate.
When Adunni asked Mercy if she wears booty shorts at home, Mercy said “I wear bumshots so that all those toothpick leg girls will not snatch my husband. I do oh…I do”she said.

A young dad has lost his battle with terminal cancer just one week after fulfilling his dying wish to marry his sweetheart.

Paul Williams died on Friday after tying the knot with Seren Williams in a tear-jerking ceremony on July 1 .

The 23-year-old's new wife Mrs Williams, 21, described him as a “lovable man” who “cared for everybody else before himself”.

She said: “He was a genuinely nice person that everybody loved.”

The couple, who have a one-year-old daughter, married after a social media fundraising campaign by family members and help from the charity Wish for a Wedding.



Mrs Williams said she will tell their daughter Amelia-Mae that she can always talk to her father though he “just can’t answer anymore” and that he “loved her very much and always will”.

“[He was] the best father you could ever think of.

"Absolutely amazing with her [Amelia-Mae] and she was a daddy’s girl.

“He’s always going to be with her - wherever she goes,” she added.

Mrs Williams’ four-year old sister Annalise Pedler has told Amelia-Mae her father is now a guardian angel and the “brightest star in the sky”.

The family has had a memory box made for Amelia-Mae bearing the message “Daddy loves you”.

It contains a wedding DVD, handprint necklaces and a collection of birthday cards her father wrote for her that she can open until she turns 21.

Mrs Williams’ stepmother Hayley Pedler, who helped with the fundraising effort for the wedding, said the box would help Amelia-Mae “to always keep her dad’s memory alive”.

The couple met in a local park and Mrs Williams said they became “inseparable” after exchanging messages for a few weeks via the web.

Mrs Williams said her husband was a keen rugby fan, who was involved with confidence-building social inclusion charity the School of Hard Knocks.

There he met and became friends with Welsh rugby legend Scott Quinnell.

Mr Williams was told recently he had only months to live after being diagnosed with bone cancer, also known as Ewing Sarcoma, last October.


The family had donations of outfits, a bride’s dress, and rings for their wedding.

Mr Williams asked his wife to marry him moments after being told he had months to live at Velindre Cancer Centre.

Carla Bruni, 48, who is wife to former president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, 61, was asked what her reaction will be if her husband were to be unfaithful. Monsieur Nicolas could be in danger of losing his ears if he doesn't listen to his wife.

The former first lady jokingly said: 'I could do extreme gestures, like cut his throat or his ears when he's asleep for example.

'I think you should avoid to cheat if you can, it's too dangerous. It's a road to a break up.
'Also, fidelity, this is a sine qua non (essential) condition for a wedding, I guess. Why cheat and lie whereas you have the possibility to choose your life, get married or not, have kids or not.'



Bruni who made a name for herself as a model and singer married Sarkozy in 2008, months after he split from his second wife, Cecilia.
