Chelsea superstar Nemanja Matic has reportedly 'agreed personal terms' with rival Manchester United.
The Serbian midfielder is set to reunite with former Blues boss Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford following the manager's departure from the London club in 2016.
Matic was previously managed by the Portuguese manager for two seasons while he was still at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho will be looking to bolster his squad following a decent first-season at United.
Liverpool have announced the signing of Mohamed Salah from AS Roma for a record breaking fee.
The Egyptian player joins Jurgen Klopp's side in his second foray in the Premier League having spent half a season at Chelsea under Jose Mourinho.
The 25-year-old agreed a long-term contract with the Reds after completing a medical. He will officially become a player for the club on July 1, 2017.
Salah scored 29 goals in 65 appearances in Serie A across two seasons with Roma.
Mohammed Salah, who has also previously represented Basel, Chelsea and Fiorentina, has been capped on 52 occasions by his country since 2011, scoring 29 goals during that period of time.
After England-Nigerian striker Dominic Solanke, Mohammed salah is the second signing this summer for LIVERPOOL.
A doting dad 'married' his critically-ill little girl so she could have her very own fairy tale wedding.
Dad
Shi Xinzhan said his 6-year-old daughter Shi Haiqing had always dreamt
of marrying her Prince Charming, so he played the part himself.
Donning
a white outfit Xinzhan walked 'down the aisle' hand-in-hand with his
daughter, who had put on her favourite Snow White dress.
They walked into her hospital ward to the tune of Felix Mendelssohn’s "Wedding March".
Nurses, doctors and other patients acted as guests for the hospital 'wedding' in Tai’an City, East China’s Shandong Province.
The
symbolic ceremony also means that he will get to see his daughter get
married - something he and his wife may never witness if she does not
win her battle against nephrotic syndrome.
The kidney disease has
seen the family’s life turned upside down since April this year, and in
the eight months that followed Haiqing’s appearance has also changed
dramatically, making her unrecognisable.
The hormones she takes to counter the illness have caused
her to put on 6 kilogrammes (13 lbs), which now sees her face swollen
like a little balloon.
During the onset of the disease, Haiqing
also suffered serious adrenal crises and her parents received two
"critically ill" notices in the space of 10 days.
Besides the
large amounts of money spent on Haiqing’s treatment - sometimes up to
10,000 RMB (£1,160) per day - there is very little the girl’s mum and
dad can do.
But Haiqing has given her parents optimism, because
she does not seem to fully grasp the severity of her disease and
therefore seems to remain happy and cheerful every day.
Britain's former top soldier has warned Barack Obama not to wage “tit-for-tat” cyber warfare against Russia.
The
outgoing US president vowed to take revenge at a “time and place of our
choosing” over the hacking of Democratic officials’ e-mails during this
year’s bitter White House race.
Experts have blamed the Kremlin for the web attack saying Vladimir Putin wanted his pal Donald Trump to beat rival Hillary Clinton.
Britain’s former ambassador to Russia, Sir Andrew Wood, said the President-elect had a “case to answer”.
It is “almost impossible” he would not have known about Russian hacking during the election, the ex-diplomat claimed.
Mr Obama told NPR News he confronted Mr Putin over the allegations.
Whenever
a foreign government tried to interfere in US elections, the nation
must take action - “and we will”, Mr Obama revealed.
He added: “Some of it may be explicit and publicised, some of it may not be.
“But Mr Putin is well aware of my feelings about this, because I spoke to him directly about it.”
The Kremlin rejected suggestions President Putin was involved in the hacks.
Spokesman Dmitry Peskov claimed it was “laughable nonsense”.
Ex-Chief of the Defence Staff General Lord Richards cautioned Mr Obama against launching a revenge attack.
He
told the BBC: “Taking President Obama at face value - and I assume he
has good evidence to substantiate his claim - then I imagine they are
going to have to think very carefully about getting into some
tit-for-tat operation with the Russians.
“You never really quite
know where it’s going to end up; are they going to start having a go at
our financial system, electricity?
“You have got to be very, very careful and that is why he has been rather cagey, I think, in choosing his words the way he has.”
Mr Trump faced accusations he knew about the Kremlin targeting the Democratic campaign.
Sir Andrew, who was Britain’s ambassador to Russia from 1995
to 2000, said: “I don’t see how Donald Trump could not have known
something.
“I think that’s almost impossible. What he actually said to Hillary Clinton in the debates was, essentially, ‘You can’t prove it - you don’t know’.
“He never said ‘This is serious, it must be investigated’.
“He did have people around him who had quite a lot to do with Russia or Ukraine. So I think there is a case to answer.”
But
the incoming President’s senior adviser, Kellyanne Conway, claimed it
was “breathtaking” and irresponsible for the White House to suggest Mr
Trump knew Russia was interfering to help his campaign.
In London, No 10 faces questions over whether Russians had used hacking to try and influence UK elections.
A Downing Street spokesman said: “There is no evidence that our elections have been interfered with in this way.
“Obviously, the reports from the US about allegations of cyber-activity by Russia are a concern.”
She only gave birth to baby Dream Kardashian a month ago.
But Blac Chyna is already determined to show the world that she's got her pre-baby body back.
The mum-of-two, 28, took to Instagram on Wednesday evening to treat her millions of fans to a series of steamy shots.
Chyna is posing up a storm as she drapes herself over a chair while dressed in a seriously daring sheer lace dress.
Giving soon-to-be sister-in-law Kim Kardashian a run for
her money, the star's bootylicious behind is on full display in the
risque picture.
The final shot, which sees her sticking out her
rear as she holds a hand seductively to her head, was simply captioned:
"@robkardashian."
It appears that she's changed up her once look again after debuting blonde dreadlocks just days ago.
The
star - who is no stranger to wigs and extensions - flaunted her new
look on Tuesday in a series of Instagram posts as she revealed her new
blonde dreadlocks.
Baby Dream's mum looked super stylish this week as she posed for a selfie with full makeup and her latest wig.
According
to stylist Kellon Deryck, it was a custom made lace wig, and the 'do
had half of it up into a bun as the rest fell down her shoulders.
John Legend has said he's "disappointed" with Kanye West for meeting President-elect Donald Trump this week.
John, who is a close friend of the star, thinks it was a "publicity stunt" for the pair to meet.
He
said: "I don’t think it’s impossible to talk to [Donald Trump] about
issues, but I won’t be used as a publicity stunt. I think Kanye was a
publicity stunt.
"I think Trump has been corrosive, his message
has been corrosive to the country. I think the things he’s promised to
do have been very concerning for a lot of people, and for Kanye to
support that message is very disappointing.
John, who previously said he saw the signs before Kanye's breakdown , added to Clique: "Whatever’s in his mind, I disagree with him."
Meanwhile,
Kanye previously took to Twitter for the first time since he was
hospitalised for exhaustion and sleep deprivation to reveal he met up
with Trump to discuss "multicultural issues".
He tweeted: "I
wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues. These
issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernising curriculums,
and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of
communication with our future President if we truly want change (sic)."
And Kanye - who has North, three, and Saint, 12 months, with
his wife Kim Kardashian West - previously insisted he would have voted
for Trump if he had cast a vote in the November election.
He
explained: "I told y'all I didn't vote, right? But if I were to vote, I
would have voted for Trump. I just said that I would have voted for
Donald Trump and then I did a song and y'all sang it at the top of your
lungs. That doesn't mean that you're a Trump supporter.
"That
just means you OK with a celebrity having their own opinion. Or that
someone else is OK to have their own opinion. That might not be your
opinion but you can still like that person or still like that person's
music."
