The 69-year-old took a slight tumble on the stairs as she made her way into the premiere of her upcoming film Woman in Gold.
She appeared to trip over the skirt of her glamorous green gown and reached out to steady herself.
But the acting legend managed to maintain her composure and recovered perfectly from her fall. What a pro.
Dame Helen looked every inch the leading lady in the gorgous floor-scraping gown with lace overlay.
She teamed her look with a dazzling necklace and drop earrings and wore a splash of red on her lips.
The gown clung perfectly to her curves and showed off her svelte silhouette to perfection.
Dame Helen was joined as she posed for the cameras by her Woman In Gold co-star Hollywood hunk Ryan Reynolds who looked dapper in a navy suit and matching tie.
She is currently starring in a new ad for L’Oreal Paris and revealed she doesn't worry about her looks as much as she used to.
She said: "I used to worry a lot more about my looks than I do now.
“I think the great advantage of getting older is that you let go of certain things. Having said that, I think all women worry to some degree — and I don’t think men are exempt.
"I don’t really like the word 'beauty'. There are physically beautiful people in the world, then there are other people that are not beautiful, but are very attractive because of their personality, energy, brilliance, genius: all kinds of things."
