Mariah Carey was showing precisely why she’s earned the title of diva extraordinaire when she took to the stage in New Orleans on Saturday evening.

The star slipped into the most show-stopping gown for her performance at the Essence Festival at the Louisiana Superdome.

Wowing the crowds, the singer put her ample assets on full display in the sparkling silver frock.

With two deep thigh splits running up either side, Mariah was showing off plenty of leg too.
