When Geri Halliwell married F1 boss Christian Horner yesterday, most people expected the big day to have some link to a very flash automobile.
So it's no surprise to learn the former Spice Girl was given the best wedding gift EVER from her new husband - a £350,000 DB5 retro-style Aston Martin car. Wowsa.
Millionaire Christian coughed up the cash for the extravagant gift after Geri, 42, mentioned it was her favourite car - the same model which featured in the Bond film Goldfinger.
The groom, 41, arrived in the flash motor yesterday at St Mary's Church in Woburn, Bedfordshire and Geri looked stunning in a white lace dress designed by Phillipa Lepley, a couture gown designer based in Chelsea.
At the reception, former Ginger Spice grabbed the mic for a special surprise and delighted guests with a solo of the Spice Girls' hit Wannabe as a joke for her delighted husband and guests.
A source told 3AM: "Before they went on their first date, Christian googled Geri – and found a video of her doing the song.
"Geri found it hilarious that he had to research her beforehand and the song has become a running joke."
Talking about their special day, Geri said: "We are thrilled, it has been an amazing day, filled with so much love, joy and laughter.
