This is the heartbreaking scene as a dog wanders a hospital's corridors looking for his owner.
The faithful pooch had accompanied his owner to hospital when he went in for an operation.
But the man died and his pet has refused to leave and keeps running back to room 404 where the pair last saw each other.

Although the pup was initially let inside when the owner was brought to hospital, after the man died, staff wanted the animal gone.
They took it out numerous times, but he always sneaked back in as he appears to not realise his owner has died.
According to a local newspaper Infobae and television network C5N , because the animal returning, hospital employees finally decided to adopt it and made it the institution's mascot.
Staff, patients and visitors keep the dog warm and fed.
