Cristiano Ronaldo has set a new Primera Division record by becoming the first player to score 30 goals in six successive seasons.
The Portuguese reached the mark when he scored after 20 minutes of Real Madrid’s 4-0 win over Eibar on Saturday.
The run of the 31-year-old started in the 2010-11 season, when he struck 40 goals, and he has since bagged at least 31 strikes each term in La Liga.
The former Manchester United player has only missed the mark once since arriving in Spain, scoring 26 goals in his first season at the Bernabeu – and in that campaign he played only 29 times.
