Johnny Depp agrees to pay Amber Heard $7MILLION as they settle ugly divorce case

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have agreed to a $7 million divorce with the actor admitting their 15 month marriage was "at times volatile".

According to US gossip website TMZ, the case has been settled and actor Depp, 53, has agreed to pay his wife the huge sum of money to walk away, which includes attorneys' fees.

Legal documents were filed on Tuesday in which the Rum Dairy beauty withdrew her request for a restraining order.

The 30-year-old actress previously accused Depp of throwing an iPhone at her face during a blazing row on May 21.

It was one of numerous violent outbursts she is said to have been subjected by her husband.

The pair released a joint statement today saying: "Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love.

"Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains. There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm.

"Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity."

She has not commented on what percentage of the $7million will go to charity, or which charity she has chosen to benefit from the cash.

According to TMZ, the offer of $8million was on the table, so Heard ended up with less than she'd hoped.

As part of the settlement the model agreed to dismiss her domestic violence restraining order petition against the Pirates of the Caribbean star with prejudice, meaning she can never re-file it.

Depp's lawyers, Laura Wasser and Blair Berk, along with Heard’s, Pierce O'Donnell and Samantha Spector, agreed on a settlement after the model was grilled for an alleged SEVEN hours on Saturday during a deposition.
