Anonymous hacker hacks ISIS supporters' Twitter accounts and floods profiles with graphic PORN

An Anonymous hacker is hijacking the Twitter accounts of ISIS supporters and flooding their profiles with graphic PORN.

The hacker has tweeted several pictures showing hijacked accounts which appear to be owned by Islamic State extremists who have been promoting jihadist ideology and sharing images of mutilated bodies.

Their profile pictures have been changed to images containing the slogan 'I love porn' and their cover photos replaced by a salacious image of a scantily-clad woman lay in a sexually suggestive pose.

Most of the victims appear to be based in Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Syria, with pictures of their profiles before and after the takeover posted to the hacker's Twitter page.

In one tweet, the hacker writes: "#DaeshBags are sure into porn lately #This ones from #Iraq #OpDaesh #Anonymous #GhostOfNoNation."

The images they post are deemed highly offensive to ISIS supporters as they follow a strict version of Islam.

It is not known how the hacker, named only as WauchulaGhost , gained access to the accounts, or how many were targeted.

#Anonymous is included in the hacker's Twitter bio, suggesting they have links to the global hacking network.

It comes after online hackers are spammed ISIS supporters on Twitter by following them with thousands of graphic porn accounts.

The accounts, known as 'pornbots', feature nothing but graphic sexual images and are automatically generated, but almost never tweet and therefore cannot be deleted as spam.

The hackers target tweeters who use a lot of ISIS hashtags and strike rapidly, sometimes following them with several hundred accounts in just a few minutes.

One of their targets is a prolific French ISIS account, which recently shared a video of an ISIS execution of six Syrians with the caption: "Ahh, I love these videos..."

Following the latest cyber attack, Anonymous, who declared war on the jihadis after the attacks in Paris, appeared to have stepped up their campaign

Soon after the Paris terror attacks an Anonymous supporter, wearing their trademark hood and mask and speaking with a computerised voice, told listeners:

"Our freedom is once again under attack

"This cannot continue.

"Following the attacks in Paris last November, we have fought daily against terrorism and we have silenced thousands of Twitter accounts directly linked to ISIS

"We severely punish Daesh (another name for ISIS) on the dark net, hacked their electronic portfolio and stolen money from the terrorists."

The militant group controls swaths of territory in Syria and Iraq and has claimed responsibility for several major attacks in various countries, including coordinated attacks in Paris in November that killed 130 people.

Don't buy it! Hackers hack into SUV via Wi-Fi

Security researchers have hacked a Mitsubishi Outlander, one of the best-selling hybrid SUVs .

Worryingly the hack enabled the researchers to disable the Outlander’s car alarm, and even do things like drain the battery and turn the car’s lights off and on.

Pen Test Partners, the security researchers that carried out the hacking, have explained exactly how the hack was performed on the company website, and it makes for a worrying read.

Like many of the best hybrid cars around, the Mitsubishi Outlander has a counterpart app that allows you to check the status of the car and control certain functions.

However, rather than GSM, this system uses Wi-Fi, and that connection wasn't particularly secure.

Cracking the Outlander

The website goes on to say that the key to get into this Wi-Fi can be cracked "on a 4 x GPU cracking rig at less than 4 days," while a much faster crack can be achieved by using the cloud, or buying more graphics processors (GPUs).

After that, the next step was to capture the handshake or connection process between the owner’s phone and the car.

The researchers realised that most Outlanders would be parked outside their owner's houses, so by kicking a mobile phone off an owner's home Wi-Fi connection, the researchers were able to wait for it to find the car instead, and then capture the data exchange.

After getting the unique idetifiers of the cars, the researchers were able to imitate an owner's phone, and control several different functions.

First, they were able to turn the lights on and off and use the air conditioning to drain the car’s battery - just like the Nissan Leaf hack, but they were also able to disable the car's theft alarm.

The website reads: "So, we sat inside the car whilst being very still and locked it. Then, waving my arms around, it was clear that the alarm was off. I could then unlock the car using the handle on the inside of the door, without the alarm sounding."

What has Mitsubishi said?

The website says, "Initial attempts by us to disclose privately to Mitsubishi were greeted with disinterest... So, we involved the BBC who helped us get their attention.

"Mitsubishi have since been very responsive to us! They are taking the issue very seriously at the highest levels."

How to fix it

The researchers at Pen Test Partners have offered a short-term fix for the vulnerability, but it does mean the app will be useless for the time being.

First, go to the car and connect your mobile phone to the access point on the car.

Using the app, go to ‘Settings’ and select ‘Cancel VIN Registration’:

Once all paired devices are unpaired, the Wi-Fi module will effectively go to sleep. It cannot be powered up again until the car key remote is pressed ten times. A nice security feature.

The researchers go on to say as a medium term solution, "new firmware should be deployed urgently to fix this problem properly, so the mobile app can still be used".

After that, the researchers say engineers will need to re-engineer the whole app completely.

Desperate ISIS drops its own fighters into tank of ACID after terror group's secrets leaked

Paranoid ISIS commanders are plunging their own men into vats of ACID as part of a purge to root out informers, it has been reported.

Under-fire ISIS have executed dozens of fighters they accused of being spies after a spate of airstrikes killed senior figures in the terror group, such as ISIS second-in-command Abdul Rahman Mustafa al-Qaduli, also known as Haji Imam.

A senior Iraqi intelligence official said about a dozen fighters and civilians were drowned in a vat filled with acid.

It is believed some fighters have been selling intelligence to the enemies of ISIS in a desperate attempt to raise cash and flee.

Islamic State may also have committed the sickening killing to discourage defectors and those living under their brutal regime from fleeing.

As the terror group loses territory to its opponents and cash due to air strikes on oil infrastructure, many of its fighters have deserted.

Last month the jihadists reportedly forced its own terrified men into a forensic freezer and left them to die slowly.

A source said the victims were placed in a forensic medicine freezer in the ISIS stronghold of Mosul for 24 hours.

After slowly dying from the extreme cold their frozen bodies were placed at roads leading into the city to act as a warning to others.

Apple to launch iPhone 7 with 256GB Storage Capacity.

A new forecast coming from analyst house TrendForce confirms recent reports that Apple is planning to offer a 256GB version of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models along with the 128GB storage option. Apple is expected to give up on the 64GB storage version. The report also reveals that the upcoming devices could feature 32GB of memory as their base models, thus getting rid of the 16GB version altogether.

Also, the display would not be a part of the upgrade line-up, so the one that’s currently available on the iPhone 6s will be offered on the next models, probably with small changes.

“The display of iPhone 7, however, will not feature a significant breakthrough. This also signifies that LTPS LCD has reached its peak in development and is unlikely to make another big technological leap in the future,” the analysts estimate.

The Plus model will come with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and this is very likely to be one of the features exclusively available on the 5.5-inch version. On the other hand, the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 will come with 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM and will feature only a small c

The 5.5-inch iPhone 7 will be the first in series to have 3GB of memory in the form of four stacked 6GB mono-die modules. The additional memory is used to process the images taken from the dual-camera,” the report reads.

It also reiterates that Apple won’t include OLED displays this year, and will launch them in iPhones in 2017 or 2018.

TrendForce also predicted no big change to the iPhone 7’s screen technology, a choice that would disappoint fans hoping for rich colours offered by AMOLED display technology. Also, previous leaks suggest a new, more powerful A10 processor and GPU SoC, and the omission of the 3.5mm audio jack.

The upcoming iPhone is said to be 1mm slimmer, and house a Smart Connector at the back for connecting the Smart Keyboard cover or other device like charging docks. While it is a well-known fact that MacBooks charge iPhones faster than a typical laptop, the leaked photos of the upcoming MacBook Pro line-up indicates that it would havea total of four USB-C ports, two on each side of the device. In other words, these ports available on the next-generation MacBook Pro can be used for charging, data transfers, external monitors and basically everything that involves external connectivity including iPhone charging. Current Macs that come with USB 2.0 ports can produce 500 mA (Milliamps) at 5V, while a USB 3.0 port offers 900 mA at 5V. USB Type-C, or generally referred as USB-C, adds support for 1.5 A and 3.0 A power currents at 5V. With these specifications, a MacBook with USB-C can charge the iPhone significantly faster, as the upcoming MacBook is coming only with USB-C ports. The upcoming iPhone 7 will get rid of the USB and bring in Lightning cable and replace it with a USB-C to Lightning version that would allow users to charge their phones using the new MacBook’s USB-C ports.
Since the new MacBook Pro is expected to come with USB-C ports exclusively, it would meant that the iPhone 7 will not only get a new cable to connect to the laptop, but also benefit from the faster charging times offered by this new standard.

Apple is projected to unveil the new iPhone 7 models in September this year.

They climbed the worlds tallest buildings in quest for the perfect selfie

These daredevils are certainly not scared of heights as they scale towers hundreds of metres tall in their quest for the perfect photo.

The photography movement called rooftopping involves thrill seekers climbing to the top of city skyscrapers, hanging off the edge and taking pictures of the spectacular view beneath them.

Disguising themselves so they can carry out their daring stunts, the thrill seekers avoid security and CCTV before climbing to the top of skyscrapers and hanging off the edge - photographing the evidence as proof of their antics.

In Hong Kong three brave climbers scaled a skyscraper to take the shot. Alexander Remnev who is a regular ‘rooftopper’ is using a selfie stick.

See how Teachers' hair were shaved because they refused to go on strike

This outrageous footage shows a group of teachers and school administers having their hair shaved in public after they refused to go on strike.
As the footage shows, an elderly woman has her head yanked back by a man dressed in a yellow T-shirt as the crowd cheers.
He then begins hacking at her dark curly hair as the brave woman just sits quietly, with another woman teacher looking stunned next to her.
All the teachers had been paraded in the streets with placards around their next with, "I am a traitor," or, "I sold myself to the government," written on them.

Three UN peacekeepers die in Cote d’Ivoire road accident

Three Senegalese peacekeepers under the United Nations Operation in Cote d’Ivoire died while on patrol after their vehicle overturned, a source from the UN mission said on Tuesday.

The three peacekeepers were on a normal patrol when their vehicle overturned in unclear circumstances.

Their death brought the total number of UN peacekeepers who have died in Cote d’Ivoire since their deployment in April 2004 to 104.

A UN mission was deployed in Cote d’Ivore following a political crisis that broke out in 2002, dividing the country into two.

Meanwhile, the South was then under the control of loyalist forces, while the North was under the control of armed rebels.

Report says the mission is currently involved in the pacification of the country after the 2010 to 2011 post-election crisis.

However, ONUCI has begun reducing the number of its officers in Cote d’Ivoire, with its mission expected to end in June 2017.

Finally: ISIS underground military base found

A warren of terror tunnels excavated by ISIS terror thugs has been discovered by Iraqi forces.

The extensive network was unveiled after the jihadis fled the outskirts of Fallujah.

One of the longest tunnels surrounded a brick factory, Hashid Shaabi fighters said.

Islamic State used the tunnels to approach, appear and escape from the front-line to reduce their casualties.

The tunnels run under streets and between houses, where the terror thugs take cover to fight their advancing enemy.

Iraqi troops have pushed towards Fallujah from the south, aiming to completely surround the Islamic State-held city, Iraq's elite counter-terrorism forces said.

"Our troops are now in the process of surrounding the city from all (sides)," said Lieutenant General Abdul-Wahab al-Saadi, the head of the counter-terrorism forces' Fallujah operation.

"By doing so, we will besiege the city of Fallujah in full. And then we will start storming the city from several directions with new forces."

Booby-trapped explosives and large numbers of civilians unable to escape are expected to complicate operations moving forward, Lt al-Saadi said.

UK citizen who planned to blow up Heathrow airport gets 40 years in US jail for supporting Al-Qaeda

A UK citizen who 'planned to blow up Heathrow airport' has been jailed for 40 years in the US for supporting Al-Qaeda.

Ming Quang Pham, aka Amin, had pleaded guilty to three counts of terrorist related activity.

Born in Vietnam, he used to live in New Cross and worked in a London branch of McDonald's - but intended to commit a massacre in his home city.

He is believed to have been personally trained by an Al Qaeda leader to carry out a devastating suicide attack and bomb Heathrow Airport , US court papers claimed.

They claim Pham, 33, was instructed to wear a backpack containing the bomb and target passengers arriving from America and Israel in an arrivals hall.

He was reportedly told by Al Qaeda chief Anwar al-Awlaki, who trained him, to place metal bolts around the bomb to cause as many casualties as possible.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command in London confirmed tonight they have been liaising with their counterparts in New York over the case.

The unit said it provided key evidence that helped "shape the case" against Pham which "led to this successful prosecution".

Pham had been supporting AQAP - Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula - which is a designated foreign terrorist organisation.

Pham was instructed to target American and Israeli passengers in Heathrow Airport's arrivals hall

He pleaded guilty to one count of providing material support to AQAP, one count of conspiring to receive military training from AQAP and one count of possessing and using a machine gun in furtherance of crimes of violence.

Pham was first arrested in the UK on June 29, 2012, and subsequently extradited to the US on February 26 last year.

Details of the alleged plan to blow up Heathrow Airport emerged in FBI interviews with Pham.

One FBI transcript of an interview with Pham reads: “Pham approached Awlaki and offered to conduct a suicide attack and ‘sacrifice himself’ on behalf of Al Qaeda upon his return to the United Kingdom.”

SHOCKING: 30 men rape 16-year-old, post video online

Two gang rapes of teenage girls including one supposedly involving 30 men that was filmed and posted online have shocked Brazil.

The UN women’s rights agency condemned the cases after the video was posted on Twitter apparently by one of the rapists who boasted about the assault.

According to Brazilian media, the video posted on Wednesday showed a girl of 16 surrounded by men who claimed she had been raped by 30 of them in Rio de Janeiro, which hosts the Olympic Games in August.

In another case, a group of at least five men allegedly drugged and raped a 17-year-old girl in the northeastern state of Piaui.

“Apart from the fact that these are young women, these barbaric cases are similar in that the teenagers were lured by their attackers in premeditated plots,” the spokeswoman for UN Women in Brazil, Nadine Gasman, said Thursday.

“They were violently attacked in a context of illegal drug use.”

The posting of the video by the attackers sparked a wave of revulsion among Brazilians on social media.

Rio de Janeiro police told AFP they were investigating the case in the video.

The Brazilian non-government group Public Safety Forum said in a study that Brazilian police recorded a sexual assault every 11 minutes in the country in 2014. An estimated half a million such assaults take place each year overall.

Zika virus: Scientists, doctors want Rio Olympics moved

An open letter signed by 150 international doctors, scientists and researchers Friday urged the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro to be moved or delayed due to the Zika virus.

To press on with the Games in Rio, the second most affected city in Brazil by the ongoing Zika crisis, would be “irresponsible” and “unethical,” the letter argued.

“Our greater concern is for global health. The Brazilian strain of Zika virus harms health in ways that science has not observed before,” said the letter, signed by experts in the United States, Britain, Canada, Norway, the Philippines, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, and Lebanon among others.

“An unnecessary risk is posed when 500,000 foreign tourists from all countries attend the Games, potentially acquire that strain, and return home to places where it can become endemic,” it said.

“Should that happen to poor, as-yet unaffected places (e.g., most of South Asia and Africa) the suffering can be great,” the letter added.

Zika can cause birth defects, including a devastating syndrome known as microcephaly in which babies are born with unusually small heads and brains.

Nearly 1,300 babies have been born in Brazil with the irreversible defect since the mosquito-borne Zika began circulating there last year.

The World Health Organisation and top US public health officials have called on those traveling to Brazil to take precautions against mosquito bites, and have said pregnant women should avoid areas where Zika is circulating, including Rio de Janeiro.

The Olympics and Paralympics, set for August 5 through September 18, “will take place during Brazil’s wintertime when there are fewer active mosquitoes and the risk of being bitten is lower,” WHO said earlier this month.

But the open letter, signed by doctors and researchers at leading universities around the world, expressed worry that officials are not adequately protecting the public against the danger posed by Zika.

“It is unethical to run the risk, just for Games that could proceed anyway, if postponed and/or moved.”

The letter urged the WHO to “conduct a fresh, evidence-based assessment” of the situation in Brazil and its recommendations for travelers.

Given the big financial investments at stake, the letter questioned whether the UN health agency was able to give a non-biased view of the situation.

It said the world body may not be properly considering the options, which include moving the Games to a place where Zika is not present, postponing them until Zika is under control, or cancelling them.

We are concerned that WHO is rejecting these alternatives because of a conflict of interest,” said the letter.

Specifically, WHO entered into an official partnership with the International Olympic Committee, in a Memorandum of Understanding that remains secret.”

It called on the UN health agency to disclose the memo.

“Not doing so casts doubt on WHO’s neutrality,” it said.

“WHO must revisit the question of Zika and postponing and/or moving the Games. We recommend that WHO convene an independent group to advise it and the IOC in a transparent, evidence-based process in which science, public health, and the spirit of sport come first,” the letter said.

“Given the public health and ethical consequences, not doing so is irresponsible.”

9 fascinating facts about the animal kingdom they didn't teach you at school

We were all taught things about animals at school that we were able to recite perfectly when asked by a teacher.

An octopus has eight tentacles and the cheetah is the fastest land animal in the world - that, we know.

But do you know how the lemur got its name? Or why a flamingo stands on one leg?

There's an abundance of fascinating facts about the animal kingdom, and we've picked 9 of our favourites from Flamingo Land's files.
.

1. Kangaroos

We all know that a baby kangaroo is called a Joey, but did you realise how small they are when they're first born?

A newborn kangaroo is actually no bigger than a cherry.

Flamingo Land

And we'll throw in another fun fact for free - when they need to defend themselves, kangaroos will growl like dogs.

2. Flamingos

If you've ever seen flamingos in a zoo, you might have noticed that they hang about in groups standing on one leg.

Why? There's no particular scientific reason other than that they're simply more comfortable that way. That's it.

But a far more fascinating fact about these birds is that their eyes are actually BIGGER than their brains, which might surprise you because their eyes aren't very big at all.

And if you've ever wondered about the name Flamingo, it derives from the Latin meaning 'flame' - probably because of their bright colour.

3. Lemurs

Speaking of name meanings, the lemur has a pretty good one.

The word comes from the old Latin name for ghosts or spirits, referring to the animals' wide, staring eyes and their preference for moving about at night.

You probably wouldn't want to spot one of them looking at you in the dark, that's for sure.

GET THE LATEST UPDATES STRAIGHT TO YOUR MOBILE PHONE

Lemurs are found on the island of Madagascar off the east coast of Africa. They are primates and found nowhere else in the world.

Ring-tailed lemurs grunt, purr and mew like house cats, and also bark like dogs!

4. Poison arrow frog

They might look pretty, but these little froggies can be deadly.

Some speces of poison arrow frog produce a type of toxin that is so powerful, a drop that weighs just 1/100,000 of an ounce could potentially KILL a human.

So it's best to keep a safe distance from these little fellas.

5. Hippopotamus

The hippopotamus - whose name, literally translated, means river horse - spend their days in the water as their skin is susceptible to sunburn.

But did you know that hippos were once thought to 'sweat' blood?

They don't quite sweat blood - but they do have a red pigment in their glands which makes their sweat look a bit bloody.

This also acts as a sunscreen to protect them.

6. Meerkats

We associate these cute little animals with sitting around lazily, falling asleep in the sun (as well as selling car insurance, of course).

But they're actually hard little workers - and very good at digging.

Meerkats’ curved front claws act as shovels and they can move several hundred times their body weight in sand in one day.

They've probably earned that nap, then.

7. Baboons

Ever wondered why baboons have those pink bottoms? It's certainly not for cosmetic reasons - but there's actually a pretty important explanation.

The red skin on a baboon’s bum is really a leathery seating pad which allows them to sit and sleep upright.

Thanks to this, they're more comfortable wherever they choose to sit (or nap).

8. Sea lions
Sea lions can eat over 5% of their body weight in one day - that's a whole lot of fish.

They're also pretty skilled divers, hunting on their own for their food.

Their dives can last up to TEN minutes and reach 26 to 98 metres in depth.

9. Tortoises

In human reproduction, we all know that the sex of the baby is decided by the joining of mum and dad's chromosomes.

Once the fertilisation of the egg has happened, there's no changing it.

But in tortoises, the sex of babies is determined by the temperature at which they are incubated.

FINALLY: Aristotle's tomb discovered 2,400 years later in Greece

Archaeologists have found the tomb of the philosopher Aristotle in Greece after excavating for two decades.

The 2,400-year-old crypt was discovered in his birthplace Stagira, near the ancient city's Agora – a public gathering space.

It was originally thought that Aristotle died in Chalcis in 322 BC – 62 years after his birth in 384 BC – but archaeologists now think the people of Stagira moved his ashes to his home town.

Speaking at the Aristotle 2400 Years World Congress, archaeologists hailed the finding as the most important from a 20-year excavation, according to the Greek Reporter .

The tomb has an enormous dome standing 10 metres tall and marble flooring which has been dated to the Hellenistic period.

It has 360-degree views and is located in an area that would have been easily accessible for the visiting public to pay their respects.

But archaeologists noted that the construction of the tomb was hurried and high quality materials were put on top at a later date.

Aristotle has been described as "the first genuine scientist in history" after writing widely on everything from physics and zoology to poetry and linguistics.

His thoughts helped lay the foundations for Western culture.
