Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is trapped in the besieged Iraqi city of Mosul, it was claimed last night.
The second most wanted man in the world after al Qaeda ’s Ayman al-Zawahiri has a $10million bounty on his head.
He is believed to be holed up with ISIS bombmaker Fawzi Ali Nouimeh, raising fears of a network of booby-trap bombs throughout the stricken city.
Senior Kurdish official Hoshiyar Zebari said his forces had “solid” intelligence that al-Baghdadi and Nouimeh were still in the city.
It means jihadi diehards will fight with even greater ferocity to defend their stronghold against Iraqi and Kurdish forces.
It was from a mosque in Mosul that al Baghdadi declared his evil caliphate two years ago.
ISIS fighters in the city are said to be unable to pinpoint if attacks will come from the east, west or north.
As they grew more desperate, they used civilians as human shields when Iraqi and Kurdish troops opened fire on villages outside the city. Commanders said men, women and children were forced into the line of fire.
It is feared attacks on Mosul could lead to a massive exodus as the estimated 1.5 million people still living there attempt to flee.
The International Organisation for Migration said it was preparing gas masks in case of chemical attack by the jihadis.
ISIS slaughtered thousands when it took Mosul in 2014.
At least 84 people, including 10 children, are dead after a suspected terror attack on Bastille Day celebrations in Nice, France.
A further 52 people are in a critical condition - 25 of which are in intensive care - after a lorry hit crowds who had gathered to celebrate the French national day.
France is still on alert after the Paris terror attacks on November 13, in which 130 people were killed at sites including the Bataclan Theatre and Stade de France.
What happened?
A truck ploughed into crowds on Nice's Promenade des Anglais for around a mile.
The truck driver, Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, was seen shooting from the window of the truck as he smashed into people.
The killer was then shot dead by police with pictures showing his truck riddled with bullet holes.
An ID card found in the truck belonged to the 31-year-old French man of Tunisian descent.
Authorities have confirmed that he was known to police for common law crimes, such as theft and violence, but not intelligence services.
Guns and ammunition were found in the back of the truck, suggesting a premeditated attack.
How many killed and injured?
Revised figures say 84 people have been killed and another 202 injured. Fifty two are in a critical condition with 25 of those in intensive care, according to French prosecutor Francois Molins.
Horrifyingly at least 30 of those injured are believed to be children. One of the images to emerge from the scene shows a covered body with a child's doll lying next to it.
Video and images from the scene show the crowds tightly packed as the white lorry ploughs through the middle of them.
Other sickening footage shows bloodied bodies sprawled across the road after the horrifying incident, which is being treated as a terror attack.
Who is responsible?
The killer has been identified as 31-year-old Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, a French citizen born in Tunisia who was known to police but not on a terror watch list.
Neighbours of Bouhlel described him as “handsome” but “frightening” and said he was a loner.
And his wife’s cousin said he was a ‘drug-taking wife beater who never went to Mosque’.
He was previously convicted of road rage, according to Reuters.
The former wife of the man is currently being held by police.
Pro-ISIS Twitter accounts have posted sickening posters celebrating the attacks.
France has been in a state of high alert following a number of terror attacks claimed by ISIS on Paris and other French cities over the past year.
As yet, neither ISIS or any other terror group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
An Anonymous hacker is hijacking the Twitter accounts of ISIS supporters and flooding their profiles with graphic PORN.
The hacker has tweeted several pictures showing hijacked accounts which appear to be owned by Islamic State extremists who have been promoting jihadist ideology and sharing images of mutilated bodies.
Their profile pictures have been changed to images containing the slogan 'I love porn' and their cover photos replaced by a salacious image of a scantily-clad woman lay in a sexually suggestive pose.
Most of the victims appear to be based in Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Syria, with pictures of their profiles before and after the takeover posted to the hacker's Twitter page.
In one tweet, the hacker writes: "#DaeshBags are sure into porn lately #This ones from #Iraq #OpDaesh #Anonymous #GhostOfNoNation."
The images they post are deemed highly offensive to ISIS supporters as they follow a strict version of Islam.
It is not known how the hacker, named only as WauchulaGhost , gained access to the accounts, or how many were targeted.
#Anonymous is included in the hacker's Twitter bio, suggesting they have links to the global hacking network.
It comes after online hackers are spammed ISIS supporters on Twitter by following them with thousands of graphic porn accounts.
The accounts, known as 'pornbots', feature nothing but graphic sexual images and are automatically generated, but almost never tweet and therefore cannot be deleted as spam.
The hackers target tweeters who use a lot of ISIS hashtags and strike rapidly, sometimes following them with several hundred accounts in just a few minutes.
One of their targets is a prolific French ISIS account, which recently shared a video of an ISIS execution of six Syrians with the caption: "Ahh, I love these videos..."
Following the latest cyber attack, Anonymous, who declared war on the jihadis after the attacks in Paris, appeared to have stepped up their campaign
Soon after the Paris terror attacks an Anonymous supporter, wearing their trademark hood and mask and speaking with a computerised voice, told listeners:
"Our freedom is once again under attack
"This cannot continue.
"Following the attacks in Paris last November, we have fought daily against terrorism and we have silenced thousands of Twitter accounts directly linked to ISIS
"We severely punish Daesh (another name for ISIS) on the dark net, hacked their electronic portfolio and stolen money from the terrorists."
The militant group controls swaths of territory in Syria and Iraq and has claimed responsibility for several major attacks in various countries, including coordinated attacks in Paris in November that killed 130 people.
Paranoid ISIS commanders are plunging their own men into vats of ACID as part of a purge to root out informers, it has been reported.
Under-fire ISIS have executed dozens of fighters they accused of being spies after a spate of airstrikes killed senior figures in the terror group, such as ISIS second-in-command Abdul Rahman Mustafa al-Qaduli, also known as Haji Imam.
A senior Iraqi intelligence official said about a dozen fighters and civilians were drowned in a vat filled with acid.
It is believed some fighters have been selling intelligence to the enemies of ISIS in a desperate attempt to raise cash and flee.
Islamic State may also have committed the sickening killing to discourage defectors and those living under their brutal regime from fleeing.
As the terror group loses territory to its opponents and cash due to air strikes on oil infrastructure, many of its fighters have deserted.
Last month the jihadists reportedly forced its own terrified men into a forensic freezer and left them to die slowly.
A source said the victims were placed in a forensic medicine freezer in the ISIS stronghold of Mosul for 24 hours.
After slowly dying from the extreme cold their frozen bodies were placed at roads leading into the city to act as a warning to others.
Flight MS804 plunged 38,000ft into the Mediterranean after being downed by a terrorist attack, aviation experts feared last night.
All 66 passengers and crew died when the EgyptAir Airbus A320 fell out of the sky during its doomed trip from Paris to Cairo. There was no distress call before the jet vanished off the radar while flying in clear weather.
British geologist Richard Osman, 40, from Tanerdy, Carmarthenshire – who had just recently had a second child – was believed to be among the dead.
Egyptian officials said Flight MS804 made a sudden swerve to the left then to the right before diving into the sea near the Greek island of Karpathos.
One aviation analysts claimed the sharp movements could indicate there was a struggle in the cockpit before the pilot lost control at 12.30am yesterday.
But others feared the jet could have been brought down by a timer bomb planted before it arrived in Paris – similar to the one the blew up Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie in 1998.
As focus shifted towards al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula as the main suspects behind the tragedy, former UK air accident investigator Phil Giles said: “It’s a real mystery.
“But it sounds like there could have been a device, placed on the plane earlier at another airport in some kind of Lockerbie situation. It may have been placed on board at Paris, though security is very tight there.
“We may see a focus on the airside staff there in the coming days.”
The route taken by the doomed flight
Aviation expert Jean-Paul Troadec added: “There’s a strong possibility of an explosion on board from a bomb or a suicide bomber.”
But aviation analyst Paul Charles said the plane’s sudden movements before crashing point to an on board struggle. He added: “It wasn’t necessarily a device on board. It would suggest the pilot has been involved in some sort of an incident in the cockpit.”
Relatives wait for news at Cairo airport
The tragedy came just days after Islamic State terrorists, who were behind last year’s Paris massacre, issued a fresh attack warning to France.
The group had claimed responsibility for bringing down a Russian Metrojet flight 9268 that crashed in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula in October, killing all 224 on board.
The EgyptAir flight MS804 that crashed in the Mediterranean could have been downed by a smuggled Lockerbie-style timed bomb, it's feared.
Investigators are looking into whether a device was placed on the Airbus A320 from Paris to Cairo before it went missing with 66 people on board, including one Brit, in the early hours of this morning.
Wreckage from the plane , which had been flying 10 miles inside Egyptian airspace when it made "sudden swerves", has since been discovered near the Greek island of Karpathos.
The plane, which had previously stopped in Eritrea and Tunisia, plunged 22,000ft while spinning at 360 degrees before disappearing off radar.
Investigators are looking into whether a Lockerbie-style device was placed on the aircraft in Tunis or Asmara before it landed in Paris.

Here are five theories as to why the plane crashed:
1. A bomb was planted at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. However, this is thought to be unlikely as security there is unprecedente in the wake of the Paris attacks.
2. A very complex and sophisticated device planted in Cairo on two timers. The first timer kicks in close to take off in Egypt and starts a barometric pressure device when it lands in Paris. When the pressure decreases as the plane stars to land over the Mediterranean, a second timer goes off, causing the explosion as in the Lockerbie disaster.
3. Catastrophic engine failure .
4.Taken out by accident in a very crowded sky where Russian, Syrian, UK, American and the Arab Air Force are operating.
5.Crew or passenger initiated the bomb.
Aeronautics specialist Gerard Feldzer admitted the chances of a mechanical malfunction were slim.
He said: “It’s a modern plane, the incident happened in mid-flight in extremely stable conditions.
“The quality of the maintenance and the quality of the plane are not in question in this incident.”
Air travel expert Julian Bray said no alert being made could mean the airliner suffered a “catastrophic failure” possibly as a result of an explosion.
“There’s a lot of concentrated focus on terrorist issues around Paris,” he added.
“One has to be cautious about drawing conclusions.
“It would not have needed to be a large device - if it was a terrorist-related failure - to lose cabin pressure.”
European air traffic network manager Eurocontrol said there were no weather issues at the time of the plane losing contact.
ISIS are targeting dating websites to lure jihadi brides to join their ranks, it has been claimed.
Islamic State have been prolific at exploiting online platforms to spread propaganda and encourage extremists to fight their cause in Syria and Iraq.
But now it seems not even dating websites are safe from terrorist recruiters who are trying to encourage young women to marry ISIS militants.

A Jordanian Intelligence official said no online platform is out of Islamic State's reach.
He said: "At the end of last year, we were approached by a family living near Zarqa [Jordan’s second-largest city] who believed their daughter was speaking to dangerous people online,”
"I told them, ‘Close her Twitter and Telegram,’ but they said, ‘No, it’s the dating site she is on."
The man, presumably an ISIS fighter, had got in contact with the woman via a dating site for devout Muslims.
He tried to convince her to come to Raqqa, Islamic State's de-facto capital, on the promise of riches and a husband.

The officer continued: "He told her about the big house she would have and the servants.
"Her husband would be a handsome fighter … he even sent her photos of the beautiful jewelry he would buy her for her wedding nig ht."
Luckily, the daughter was prevented from joining ISIS before it was too late.
The official said: "Her case just shows you that even on dating sites ISIS is recruiting."
The internet is a major reason why ISIS have been successful, an US intelligence official said
According to U.S. intelligence, the reason ISIS have been so successful is due to their effective use of the internet.
A US intelligence officer told BuzzFeed news : "I don’t think it is far-fetched to say that the internet is a major reason why ISIS is so successful, and so worrying, as far as global terror movements go.
"They have always been ‘good’ at the internet, at the strategy of how they use it.
A British-born Nigerian was removed from an Easyjet flight at Luton
airport after a fellow passenger read a message that mentions 'prayer'
on his mobile phone and alerted cabin crew, who raised alarm with the
police.
Laolu Opebiyi was using WhatsApp to
arrange a
conference call prayer session with friends, as the Amsterdam-bound
flight was waiting to take off at Luton airport on Thursday February 25
when a passenger next to him questioned him about message that included
the word 'prayer' asking "What do you mean by prayer?"
The
40-year-old Nigerian-born business analyst from London explained
to the passenger that he was preparing to pray with friends. Few
minutes later, he was pulled off the flight by two firearms officers. It
is thought the man misread the name of Mr Opebiyi's prayer group
“ISI men” – which stands for "iron sharpens iron” from a Bible quote –
as Isis.
Mr Opebiyi told the Guardian: "That guy doesn’t know me and within two minutes
he’s judging me. Even if I was a Muslim, it was pretty unfair the way I
was treated. If we keep on giving into this kind of bigotry and
irrational fear, I
dare say that the terrorists will have achieved their aim."
Mr Opebiyi was taken into questioning by police and quizzed about
his Christian faith and where he attends church. He was forced to hand
over his phone and password so officers could check his communication.
He was eventually freed and allowed to catch another flight about three hours later.
Seven other passengers reportedly got off the flight fearing a terror threat and also took the next plane, Guardian reports.
Google has announced that they are stepping into the battle field with ISIS. They would try to assist the world against the terrorist by altering search results for the word "ISIS".
The change would mean that anyone using the world’s largest search engine tofind ISIS-related contentwould instead be shown anti-radicalisation links.
Google described the plan as a “pilot programme”.
An executive from the company, Dr. Anthony House said:
“We are working on counter-narratives around the world. This year one of the things we’re looking at is we are running two pilot programmes,”
“One is to make sure these types of views are more discoverable. The other is to make sure when people put potentially damaging search terms into our search engine they also find these counter narratives.”

A video has emerged allegedly showing an ISIS fighter being punished after attempting to escape from Iraqi forces by dressing as a woman.
In the unverified clip, a man, who is thought to be a member of ISIS, is seen dressed in a traditional black dress and hijab, as he stands next to am Iraqi soldier.
He looks down at his feet while the soldier hits him across the face, while at the same time brandishing a large knife.
It is thought the footage was recorded recently in Ramadi, a city in Iraq approximately 68 miles west of Baghdad.
Soldiers: ISIS member allegedly dressed as a woman to escape The video has surfaced several times on social media, and was also uploaded to Hassan al-Saadi Place's Facebook page.
Place appears to claim that he is the Iraqi soldier in the footage, although this has not been verified.
ISIS is conducting online bomb-making tutorials for impressionable youths in Mumbai, it has been emerged.
Captured terrorist suspects have reportedly made the admission during interrogations in India, indicating the militants are stepping up efforts to recruit potential suicide bombers from the country.

training sessions for young men and women in India using Skype and other
private messenger services, according to Zee News.
Chilling
footage apparently taken from one of the tutorials shows a split screen
with a man on one side talking viewers through the different stages of
construction, which are then demonstrated by a man on the other side of
the screen.
It is the latest attempt by ISIS to lure young Indians into its murderous fold using social media.

Foued Mohamed-Aggad, a 23-year-old from Strasbourg, was involved in the brutal slayings at the Bataclan theatre.

Mastermind of the attacks Abdelhamid Abaaoud, who was killed on November 18 after fleeing to an apartment in Saint-Denis, had also previously appeared in ISIS propaganda.
An extensive interview and photographs of him were published in ISIS' English-language propaganda magazine Dabiq in February 2015, nine months before the Paris attacks.
ISIS: The terror group has launched its own satellite TV station
ISIS terror thugs have launched a satellite TV channel and millions of people around the world may be able to tune in to their vile propaganda.
The Islamic State's media division, responsible for Islamic State's sophisticated online brainwashing campaign, has started broadcasting to half a million people in their Iraqi stronghold of Mosul.
As well as propaganda, the station reportedly has airstrike reports, harsh punishments meted out by the savage regime, lectures on their twisted version of Islam and even weather reports
A group of Syrian citizen activists known as Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently said the station, called Bein HD4, is available on Egyptian broadcast provider Nilesat. It is not known if the broadcaster, which is available throughout the Middle East, knows about the station.

The latest threat from the group comes after the UK approved airstrikes in Syria as part of the ongoing conflict there.
One Arabic passage in the video, with translated French subtitles, says:“We tell you, oh crusaders, safety will be nothing more than a dream as long as you call airstrikes upon Muslims on the lands of the Caliphate.
"If you do not put an end to this coalition, then by the will of Allah, we will fight you from within the heart of your lands."

The poster, also released by Al-Hayat, features the faces of eight of the jihadis who slaughtered 130 innocent people on November 13.

Terror expert David Thomson and activist group Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently say the poster is promoting a soon-to-be released video of the massacre.
It features the words 'Kill them wherever you find them' and in French and Arabic, as well as the words 'coming soon' - which may be a reference to further attacks on its enemies.
The co-ordinated attacks in Paris led to the slaughter of 130 people - including one British man.

There were six separate assaults, including two suicide attacks and a bombing near the Stade de France stadium and shootings at a restaurant.
But the most devastating was a massacre inside the Bataclan theatre, where US rock band Eagles of Death Metal were playing to a packed crowd.

Two gunmen first sprayed cafes outside the concert hall with machine-gun fire, then went inside.
Gunmen then opened fire on the panicked audience in a sickening prolonged assault and detonated suicide vests as police closed in.

The Stade de France attackers included Bilal Hadfi, a 20-year-old French citizen who had been living in Belgium.
M. al-Mahmod, who had entered the EU with Syrian refugees via Greece and a bomber carrying a passport belonging to a 25-year-old Syrian named Ahmad al-Mohammad were also involved.
Brahim Abdeslam, a 31-year-old French member of the Molenbeek terror cell living in Belgium, carried out shootings in the 10th and 11th arrondissements.
Shortly afterwards, he blew himself up at the Comptoir Voltaire restaurant.

The other attackers are believed to be Abdelhamid Abaaoud and an unidentified suspect.
The three men who attacked the Bataclan theatre included Samy Amimour, a 28-year-old from Paris who fought in Yemen and was known to the intelligence services.
A boy who escaped the clutches of ISIS has spoken of the horrific conditions child soldiers had to endure at the hands of the terror thugs.
The 12-year-old boy, who is identified only as ‘Nasir’ was being trained to give his young life as a suicide bomber to Islamic State , who famously boast: “We are the ones who love death as you love life."
Nasir told CNN
that there were 60 children in the training camp - the youngest was
just five - and he was never more scared than when there were
airstrikes. "They told us the Americans, the unbelievers, were trying to
kill us but they, the fighters, they loved us.
"When they were training us they would tell us our parents were unbelievers and that our first job was to go back to kill them."
Luckily he has now been reunited with his mother at a refugee camp in Kurdistan.
He added: "We weren't allowed to cry but I would think about my
mother, think about her worrying about me and I'd try and cry quietly.
When we escaped and I saw my mother again, it was like coming back to
life."

that he and his Kurdish fighters must sometimes make an “ unbelievably
hard” decision - to gun down kids sent to attack their lines in suicide
vests.

Dare
has become a poster girl for IS after she divorced her first husband
and fled to Syria with her son to marry a Swedish jihadi and have
another child.
Her former partner Deniz Yoncaci, 26, has
so far refused to comment on his ex wife’s decision to take his son to
the war torn state.
Dare’s mother and father have
publicly pleaded for their daughter to return to Britain with her
children insisting they are being used by Islamic State as “propaganda”
tools.

Brutal ISIS militants strapped a bomb onto a four-year-old boy and blew him up a week after executing his father, it has been claimed.
The
device strapped to the child was exploded using a remote control after
his father was killed for allegedly taking part in an attack that took
the lives of two militants.
Speaking to Alsumaria News
, Jabar el-Maamouri, a member of the state-sponsored Iraqi militia the
Popular Mobilisation Forces said the shocking killing took place in the
Al-Shirqat district in the Salah ad Din province of Iraq.
He said ISIS exploded “a bomb that was attached to a
four-year-old child through a remote-controlled device so that his
organs would be blown apart. ISIS executed the boy’s father a week ago
who they accused of participating in an attack on one their outposts a
month ago that killed two ISIS gunmen.”
El-Maamouri
urged human rights organisations to “document the crimes of ISIS and to
publicise the incident to the international community to condemn its
funders and supporters with money and words.”
ISIS has controlled the Al-Shirqat district since June 2014. The area is considered to be one of the organisation’s strongholds.
A group of men have been arrested and imprisoned by ISIS terrorists - because they shaved off their BEARDS.
The men were jailed for three months and told that if they repeat their 'crime' they will be beheaded, according to reports from within the city of Mosul in Iraq.
The terror group introduced a ban on shaving this month. Preachers issued threats that men who shave would be punished because it is against Sharia law.
The arrests were reported by Mosul Eye, who claims to be a blogger in Iraq.
The blog said: "ISIL (another name for ISIS) arrested a group of young men for shaving off their beards, and locked them in jail for three months.
"If they repeat this offense, ISIL will rule to behead them."
Mosul Eye also reported ISIS executed one of its own militants after he was found guilty of raping his sister-in-law.
Earlier this month it emerged that Islamic State terrorists have banned skinny jeans as part of their crackdown on freedom of expression.
Any hipsters wearing the trendy jeans, listening to music on their mobile phones, or smoking, could be jailed by the terrorists for ten days.
They would also be forced to take an Islamic course and to stay in prison until they pass, it was reported in Raqqa, Syria.
The new laws were revealed by the anti-ISIS campaign group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently (RBSS).
