The Fast & Furious actor died in the fatal accident in 2013, and now his dad - the executer of his son's estate - has started legal action against the company.
He has claimed that the Carrera GT his son was a passenger in lacked safety features that could have saved his life - including door reinforcements, a stability-controlled system and a breakaway fuel line to stop the car from bursting into flames following a collision.
Walker's father is seeking unspecified damages - and it comes a week after Porsche responded to a wrongful death lawsuit from his daughter Meadow Rain .
In a seven-page defence of the earlier lawsuit, the car manufacturer stated he was aware of the "risk, perils and danger" involved in driving in the car.
, reportedly saying "the subject 2005 Carrera GT was abused and altered". They added that the car was "misused and improperly maintained." However, Meadow's attorney Jeff Milam responded: "If Porsche had designed the car to include proper safety features, Paul would have survived, he would be filming Fast and Furious 8, and Meadow Walker would have the father she adored."
None of the cases have been set for trial.
Paul tragically died two years ago in Santa Clarita, California when his friend Roger Rodas lost control of the Carrera GT they were travelling in and hit a concrete lamppost, followed by two trees, before the car went up in flames.
