Tragedy: Toddler Thomas Ford choked to death on a blackberry while on a family walk

A toddler choked to death on a blackberry after his dad picked it for him while they were on a family walk with their dogs.
Robert Ford, the father was carrying his 15-month-old son Thomas in a baby carrier on his back when he gave him two berries to eat.
 Thomas began choking after putting the fruit in his mouth and his panic-stricken father struggled to free him from the rucksack.
Mr Ford tried to revive his son, using the Heimlich manoeuvre to dislodge the obstruction from his throat but it was too late as his son died after he was rushed to the hospital.
