Louis van Gaal BOOED as he addresses Man United fans following Bournemouth match

Louis van Gaal was booed at Old Trafford when he addressed the Manchester United fans after their 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

Van Gaal was jeered by the remaining fans when the stadium announcer said he would be taking the microphone to speak to the crowd after missing out on a Champions League place.

But they then applauded when he thanked them for their "unconditional" support and vowed to win the FA Cup for them.


"OK, I want to say something on behalf of my players, my staff and myself," said the United boss.

"I want to thank you for the unconditional support of you.


"Wherever we have played, however things have gone on the field, you never let us down.

"Thank you for that and we will bring the FA Cup home to you. You deserve it. Thank you!"
