"My Son Says Bale Is Faster Than Me"- Critiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his five-year-old son Cristiano Jr teases him about his speed across the pitch, insisting his Real Madrid teammate Gareth Bale is quicker.

The Los Blancos superstar has spoken candidly about his boy, revealing he brings home things he has picked up about his dad from other kids at school.

Ronaldo had full custody of his son when he was born in 2010, and has never publicly revealed the identity of the child's mother.

Ahead of this weekend's Champions League final, the Portuguese admits the birth of Cristiano Jr changed him as a person and 'gives me joy'.

“My son has changed my life in many aspects," he told Spanish football programme Jugones de la Sexta. "I always said it was a dream to have a son, he changed me a lot.

“Sometimes he comes at home and says ‘daddy Bale is faster than you’. And I say ‘what are you on about? No one is faster than your dad’.

“And he says ‘yes but at school they told me he is faster and in an interview Messi said that he’d like to have your right foot'. He comes up with these things and it gives me joy, he’s a kid.”
