She was attacked outside Turtle Bay restaurant as she passed it on a night out.
The incident left her blind in her right eye and with extensive burn injuries to her face, neck, and arm.
Some of the corrosive liquid from the attack also damaged Miss Whitlock's mouth.
Staff from Turtle Bay restaurant, which Miss Whitlock was walking past when she was assaulted, came to her aid.
The mother-of-six will undergo a number of operations over the next six months in the hope of bettering her injured eye.
The court heard that both brothers will remain in custody until Billy's trial, which is expected to last 10 days and will start on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.
Geoffrey will be sentenced next year at the end of Billy's trial.
